FIRST BOAT IS FOR PHIL GARLAND AND RODGER MARTIN

The first new production Presto 30 is for Phil Garland (of Hall Spars) and Rodger Martin and their families.  Plans are to use the boat for local PHRF racing and shoal water cruising in Florida and the Bahamas in the Winter and New England in the Summer, towing the boat between the two locations.

OUTWARD BOUND 30 EXPEDITION BOAT - FIRST TWO BOATS LAUNCHED

The first two Outward Bound Hurricane Island 30 expedition boats have been launched and taken to the seas on their first course, a one-week trip off the Maine coast with 12 of Gary Jobson's "All Star" high-school sailors.  The trip was a huge success, and Jobson with the help of a full film crew collected footage for an upcoming PBS presentation and for an Outward Bound publicity film.

The Outward Bound Wilderness Program will soon be replacing their entire fleet of 30' sailing / pulling boats; they have served the program well for 40 years. The boat is designed to challenge eight crew with sailing, coastal navigation, outdoorsmanship, and teamwork over a 1-4 week expedition. She will be a wonderful boat for experiencing the wilderness!

42' CUSTOM DAYSAILER - BID PLANS COMPLETE

Bid plans are complete for our 42' custom carbon daysailer.  She is to be a test-bed and showcase for environmentally-responsible technology and, where possible, materials.

32.6' SPORTBOAT - CONSTRUCTION PROGRESSING

Construction continues on our 32.6' custom carbon sportboat, homebuilt in Tiverton, RI.  As of mid February 2009 the hull plug has been skinned with the first drops of carbon and foam core.  All internal structural frames are complete as well as flat panel deck and cockpit pieces.
