Congratulations to Phil Garland, skippering his Quest 30 "Samba" to a win in White Class 7 during Block Island Race Week 2003. Conditions ranged from light-air drifters to 15 knots, and Samba excelled in all. | | | TOP FINISHES AT PHRF NEW ENGLANDS
Five Rodger Martin boats competed in this year's PHRF New England Championships in Marblehead, MA. Class 2 (including the Aerodyne 38's) was won by Bill Cushman on "Wanderer" followed by Bump Wilcox / Tom Dreschler on "Loonatic", then Jud / Cindy Smith on "Kismet." Two Aerodyne 38's and one Quest 33 competed in this years' Offshore 160, and all posted great finishes. Larry Pierce aboard "Bob's Yer Uncle" won the Class 1, followed by Victor Pinheiro on "Alegria." Michael Millard on the Quest 33 "Wildeyes" finished a second in the Class 2. Well done all!
